Cookies Policy

This page explains what LinkedTri stores in your browser and what each item is used for. Alongside cookies, this site mainly uses two other browser storage areas: local storage, which stays until it is cleared, and session storage, which is emptied as soon as you close the tab. We treat all of them the same way here, because from your point of view they do the same job: they let the site remember something between one page and the next.

Necessary storage

A small number of items are needed for the site to work as you would expect. They include the record of the cookie choices you make, which is saved so that we can respect the same answer next time; the sign-in token that keeps an account signed in while you use the site; and an enquiry you have started but not yet sent, which is held only until the tab is closed. These items are set without asking, because without them the corresponding feature simply cannot work.

Preferences

Optional items in the Preferences group remember choices you have made. They cover the display currency you pick, a short-lived copy of the exchange rates used to show prices in that currency, and details you have already typed into an enquiry or tour form so that they are not lost if you move around the site. None of this is stored until you allow the Preferences category. If you do not allow it, the features still work for the page you are on, they just do not remember anything afterwards.

Analytics

The Analytics category is offered in the choices panel, but nothing is currently placed in it on this site. If that changes, this page and the table below will be updated before anything runs.

Marketing

The Marketing category covers two travel affiliate and link scripts supplied by outside companies. They are not part of the page until you switch the Marketing category on. If you never turn it on, or if you withdraw your consent, they are not loaded at all.

Other requests

Typefaces used across the site are loaded from Google Fonts, and exchange rates are requested from Frankfurter. Those requests reach the companies that provide them, but they do not place any storage of their own in your browser through this site.

Changing or withdrawing your choices

You can reopen your choices at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. From there you can switch individual categories on or off, or withdraw your consent altogether, which clears the saved choice and reloads the page without any optional item present.

Keeping this page accurate

This page describes the site as it is set up today. It is reviewed and updated whenever the technologies used on the site change, rather than on a fixed schedule. The date this page was last reviewed is shown with it.
